“Andy Leuenberger’s fantastic cartoons are modern sociological
Keep Up is a selection of forty cartoons by Andy Leuenberger. He started the series around 2007 and it continues to grow to date. Leuenberger observes life in Berlin, where l’art pour l’art is standard, where the music industry sprouts and withers, and where survival is uniquely dismissed. His satire concerns abstractions like political correctness, gender dilemmas, gentrification and demographic twists. Social values void of spirituality and lost on distractions, identity based on hip consumer rituals and the longing for spotlight personal cult are favourite subjects. Foul cynicism, vented frustration, hate and rage enlighten his heart. These cartoons deal with everything and nothing.
